The Athens Public Transportation Network offers you a wide variety of routes, combining many different means, namely the metro, railway, buses, trolleybuses and trams.
With 1,40 € (regular fare) ticket or 0,60 (discounted fare) ticket, you can move around using one or more means of transport within 1 hour and 10 minutes. You can buy tickets from all metro and train stations as well as from the kiosks on the streets. Alternatively, you can inquire about day or 3 day & 5 day passes that offer public transport at a discounted rate.

Metro, Railway and Tram
Monday and Wednesday are the standard office days for authorities, from 9 am to 5 pm. Some authorities provide services for the public on other days too, though offices are usually closed over lunch (usually from 12 noon to 1 pm).

In Greece the power sockets are of type C and F. The standard voltage is 230 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz. The best power adapter for Greece will be a Type F Adapter.
